HIV and AIDS:

HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus.

AIDS stands for Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome.

HIV and AIDS symptoms are very much alike to the symptoms of other illnesses. So there is only way to know for sure either a person is infected with HIV is for them to have an HIV test.

The People infected with HIV may feel and look absolutely well but their immune systems may however be damaged. It is very important to bear in mind that once somebody is infected with HIV they can pass the virus to any human immediately, even if they feel well condition.

AIDS caused by the virus named HIV. If a person infected with HIV does not take effective antiretroviral treatment, eventually HIV will weaken their immune system, which will make them much more defenseless and provide opportunity to infect.

Aseptically infections are caused by germs that are around us all the time but which can usually be fought off by a vigorous immune system. Once the immune system is adequately destabilized, such infections will develop and produce any of a large range of symptoms. Some of these symptoms can be very harsh. Certain cancers also become more widespread when the immune system is destabilized.

Immune System:

The immune system is the body's natural guard system against invading foreign agents such as viruses and bacteria. The immune system attacks by HIV, weakening it and making the body more vulnerable to infection. Some symptoms affect the immune system after infection

Symptoms of AIDS and HIV Infection:

Right away following infection with HIV, most individuals develop a concise, unfocused "viral illness" consisting of low grade fever, rash, muscle aches, headache and/or fatigue. Similar to any other viral illness, these symptoms resolve over a period of five to 10 days. Then for a period of several years, people infected with HIV are asymptomatic (no symptoms). However, their immune system is gradually being smashed by the virus. When this devastation has progressed to a dangerous point, symptoms of AIDS appear.
